My client is a hugely successful organisation who specialise in the Engineering sector and are continuing to grow. Due to their ongoing success and expansion they have an opportunity for an Administrator to join their Contracts team.Job descriptionThe role will involve supporting Project Managers, Project Co-ordinators and liaising with clients, duties will include:· Checking weekly tracker of work· Confirming whether work is priced and subsequently checking time submissions against pricing· Chasing job numbers when required. Updating cost control system with times allocated to jobs.· Prepare summaries for payrollExpensesSundry duties relating to expenses including validity and rates.· Checking expense accounts activity, checking the validity of usage and ensuring costs are allocated correctly.Invoicing· Support the billing of clients in the absence of Senior Ops/Finance support - training will be provided.· Progress with training and support to managing the billing of 1-2 large clients, ensuring timely submissions· Obtaining POs for invoices when required· Raising PO’s for Project Managers and checking values against budget allocated to the project / contractGeneral support:·PPE supply management· Organising diaries as required· Ad hoc administration dutiesExperience required:· Previous experience of a similar role· Experience of working as part of a close knit team· Good knowledge of MS Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables, lookups, etc.· Experience and knowledge of basic Finance tasks· Good communication and collaboration skills both verbally and written· Flexible, enthusiastic and can do attitudeWilling to challenge the status quo if there are aspects that you consider inefficientThis is a great opportunity to join a progressive organisation with a positive and supportive culture who offer excellent future career development
