Job Description

Our RoleFTC 6 - 12 monthsA great opportunity has become available for a People Coordinator to join the Verastar People team, on a FTC for 6 months.You will work across the People Team which includes Learning and Development, People Engagement, Talent Acquisition, People Services and People Business Partners.What you’ll be doingYou’ll have an exciting remit, supporting Learning & Development (L&D), People Engagement and Talent Acquisition (TA).

  • You will lead the co-ordination of L&D programmes supported by the L&D Management team and colleagues.
  • You will co-ordinate facilitated and digital learning sessions.
  • You will support the delivery of the L&D teams’ annual calendar of activities, ensuring timelines are met.
  • You will support with the development and coordination of colleague events that inspire our team, celebrate success, and drive positive engagement.
  • You will support to co-ordinate colleague focus groups on key topics with the Business Partnering team.
  • You will support with recruitment administration, writing and posting adverts onto our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • You will maintain recruitment adverts ensuring all roles are live as required.
  • You will ensure that all hiring managers upload interview paperwork into the ATS following all interviews.
  • Finally, you will contribute to the development and successful delivery of ad-hoc recruitment and HR projects and initiatives.
What makes a great People Coordinator
  • We are looking for someone enthusiastic about supporting the full People agenda at Verastar with a keen interest in HR.
  • Experience of coordination support is essential (experience of this within a People Team would be desirable).
  • Experience in managing high volume workloads.
  • If you have or are working towards a CIPD level 3 or above, that would be beneficial.
