Job Description

Our goal is to simplify essential services for our customers by offering the widest range of services on the market all a unique one bill solution.We have just moved our Headquarters to newly refurbished offices next to Sale Water park, located just off the M60 our facilities at No.1 Dovecote include a free on-site gym and subsidised café and a bar for relaxing after work with colleagues.Job purposeTo provide broad ranging L&D support to stakeholders across allocated business areas, within a call centre environment with high volume staff turnover and induction focused requirements. You will support across a range of skill areas and across both new starters and existing colleagues, Contribute towards the wider HR team’s objectives of reducing staff attrition, increasing staff tenure and increasing impact of new team members within their first 3 months.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesNeeds Analysis / Development Planning:

  • Identify and feedback to the Senior Trainer and Training Manager any new training requirements highlighted within the allocated business area
  • Design & Delivery:
  • Liaising with the Senior Trainer, drive continuous improvements of interventions through effective coordination of updates to materials and designing revised content as required
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of all elements of the 12-week induction plans for allocated business areas, including planned development sessions ensuring these take place whilst minimising any operational impacts
  • Ensure training activity strongly links to successful development of skills and performance as specified within the ‘Pay Progression’ scheme to ensure employees are equipped to move up through progression levels
  • Ensure instances of delivery (approx. 70% of role) are varied, practical and engaging for learners and supports the delivery of HR and business objectives
  • Work in collaboration with operational managers and the HR team providing guidance and consistency on people development issues
  • Observe and promote best practice of policies, procedures and processes
  • Contribute to wider L&D projects in line with own CPD priorities
  • Ensure stakeholders are actively managed (up to Team Manager level), including regular update meetings, reporting / evaluation of interventions and on-going communication
  • Support the wider L&D team with ad-hoc development activities as required
  • Assessment / Evaluation:
  • Monitor new-starter progress throughout 12-week induction process, liaising with operational management and others in team to ensure core skill levels are being achieved
  • Work with operational teams to gather evidence and metrics against the impact of training interventions
  • Use feedback in a constructive and pro-active way to help with the learner’s development needs
  • Ensure all training outcomes are recorded on the appropriate systems in a timely manner
