This company are looking for a strong 2nd line IT support engineer to join a small 3-man team of 1st and 2nd liners.You will be providing global IT support to circa 370 users across many sites located in the UK, Asia, Europe and the US.You should be technically proficient with Windows, Microsoft, Telephony and Networking technologies.Ideally, you will have experience in a 2nd line position providing remote support to internal or external users OR you will be a strong 1st line support analyst who is ready to take the next step!We are looking for someone who has the following technical experience:
  • Windows OS (7 onwards)
  • Exchange Server, Exchange 365, Office 365
  • Windows Server (2008 onwards)
  • VoIP Support
  • Windows Networking
  • Cabling & Patching
  • AD, GPO
  • Antivirus & System Backup Solutions
  • ERP System Support
  • Virtualisation technologies: VMware, Hyper V or Citrix
  • Remote Desktop Solutions
It would be beneficial but not essential if you are also proficient with:
  • Mitel MiCollab VoIP Phone System
  • Networking Protocols including TCP/IP
  • Remote Access VPN
  • Microsoft RDS Environments
  • Veeam Backup & Restore
