Job Description

Business Development Administrator – Up to £17,700 – RutherglenThe RoleSPIE UK, a smart engineering and technology-driven solutions provider for the built environment, are looking for a Business Development Administrator to provide efficient administrative support and co-ordination to ensure the smooth running of processes from quote/tender enquiry to handover to Projects.Supporting the Business Development, Design and Estimating teams, the successful candidate will improve the efficiency of business development processes.The key responsibilities of a Business Development Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Logging all enquiries/tenders on Alarm Master, Salesforce and Tender List.
  • Requesting credit checks and registering and retaining Go No Go forms.
  • Arranging review meetings and updating Workload Folder.
  • Updating contractors questionnaires.
  • Managing the collation of case studies and other tender resources.
  • Producing reports from Salesforce.
  • The PersonThe key skills and qualities of a Business Development Administrator:
  • Previous administration experience.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent numeracy, customer service and people skills.
  • Great organisation and time management skills.
  • Desirable: knowledge of fire and security industry, working within a Sales Administration role, using a CRM system, particularly Salesforce
