Job Description

Billing Administrator – Competitive Salary – Rutherglen The RoleSPIE UK, a smart engineering and technology-driven solutions provider for the built environment, are looking for a Billing Administrator to accurately prepare and issue client invoices on time for works completed by the Service division.The successful candidate will systematically reduce aged WIP via closing and billing completed jobs from Alarm Master, using judgement / history to confirm the correct ratesThe key responsibilities of a Billing Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Process aged engineer completes to invoice, across all accounts, working with existing billing team.
  • Progressing and resolving queries debt.
  • Reduce debt due and aged through quality of information / client follow-up on invoices once raised.
  • The PersonThe key skills and qualities of a Billing Administrator:
  • 3+ Years Billing experience
  • Mobile Engineering co-ordination / billing background
  • Adaptable and flexible in approach to work required
  • Financial management exposure in a commercial environment - minimum 2 years
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Excel analytical skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Attention to detail / accuracy
  • Ability to see the work through to completion
