We run our business by these values and they are reflected in all of our roles.Job purpose:Our Warehouse Operatives are at the heart of our operation and are responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles and the general sortation of parcels. This role requires physical as well as mental agility as you will be manual handling small and large items or sacks.These roles are BRAND NEW permanent roles to the site.About the Role:Reporting to your Shift Supervisor and Manager, you will be part of a shift that processes a large volume of parcels - but don’t worry you won’t be tackling them alone! You’ll work as part of a team in our industry leading hub where our smart kit sorts our parcels and sends them on their merry way to our all-important customers. At times you will have to deal with large volumes but there will be times when the volumes are lighter and you’ll have chance to gain new skills and experience.You will work 5 days out of 7 a week, on a 4 week rota which will include some weekends. Your shifts will be 10pm-6am, but this can flex depending on parcel volumes.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being busy, has a customer focussed attitude, and who cares about the quality of their work.
