Mobile Services & Technical Standards ArchitectThe position is based in Motorola’s office in either Rugby or Hemel Hempstead in the UK, and will involve an amount of travel to Motorola and customer locations in the UK. The Technical Design team within UK Managed Services has responsibility for the generation of designs for a wide range of Customer and internal Technical Services. The group holds the in-life Technical Design Authority for these Technical Services and is responsible for ongoing design changes and technology refresh strategies for both the Airwave service and Emergency Services Network (ESN). Designs are generated both internally and by working with external suppliers.The technical Design Team resides with the Service Design organisation and works closely with other teams within this group, such as Service Design & Introduction.The Mobile Services Access Architect will form part of a multi-disciplined Technical Design team to maintain and progress the ESN and specifically the MS Access design and deliver the solution and services required for the ESN.The MS Access infrastructure provides Enhanced Packet Core (EPC) services for the ESN and is the principle interface towards the ESN Radio Access Network.Responsibilities include:
