Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a mechanically trained person to join one of the UKs leading brand manufacturers as a Reliability Technician. Working within the Reliability Team you will be part of an important asset management programme within the business.This Monday to Friday day-shift role will be based in the Rugby area. THE ROLE: This heavy industry manufacture has a large maintenance team supported by a strong asset management department You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of mechanical testing and analysis on all the equipment on site ensuring preventative solutions are employed before serious mechanical failures. Duties will include:Condition Based MonitoringVibration analysis.Oil analysis.Thermography.NDT, i.e. Ultrasonics, Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetration tests Wear monitoring.As part of the companies preventative maintenance strategy your duties may also include:-Lubrication.Routine component replacement.Routine running checks.THE CANDIDATE:- Level 3 mechanical Apprenticeship required (Maintenance based preferably).The ideal candidate will have a background using mechanical maintenance skills within a manufacturing environment. Experience in Reliability tasks (condition based monitoring / Reliability centred Maintenance, Vibration analysis etc) is preferred but training is offered.Knowledge around NDT testing techniques would be ideal although training is offered. NDT experienced Candidates with a PCN certificate (personal certification in non-destructive testing) will have a distinct advantage (Level 2 ideally). As reporting is a key part of your analysis process you will be required to proficiently use various MS Office programmes including: Word, Excel, and Access.
