Job Description

The Graduate Finance Assistant will be given full training and support across a wide range of finance duties working for this Manufacturing and Production business based in Rugby. The support and training will enable you to gain significant exposure increasingyour experience in all finance and accounting duties.Client DetailsThis fast growing and respected Manufacturing and Production business in Rugby who are experiencing significant growth. Due to this they are seeking an enthusiastic finance graduate to join their team.DescriptionThe Graduate Finance Assistant role will gain significant exposure to all aspects of financial and management accounts. Working in this fast paced and growing Manufacturing and Production business in Rugby you will gain from close mentoring from the FinanceManager. Duties will include:

  • Ensuring all finance paperwork is processed, scanned and filed fully and correctly
  • Sales Ledger - Creating new customer accounts/ raising sales invoices/ Managing Aged Debt
  • Review and adhere to department budgets
  • Purchase Ledger - Reconcile supplier statements/ process purchase invoices with correct coding and matching up invoices to delivery notes
  • Daily Bank Reconciliation between Sage and multiple Bank Accounts
  • Support the directors with cash flow reporting and analysis
  • Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct
  • Collect information for and prepare payroll payments for employees
  • Assist the Management Accountant in creating financial reports on a regular basis
  • Adhere to the companys or organisations financial policies and procedures
  • Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders, customers, and clients as needed

You will be comfortable working in an office as the role requires you to be based in the office 5 days aweek to benefit from the training you will be provided.
