Job Description

Trinity House Group is proud to be working with a non-profit organisation in Coventry to recruit a Finance Business Partner - a crucial member of the Finance Team, responsible for providing financial support and strategic guidance to the organisation. Therole plays a key role in optimising financial performance and driving the success of their commercial activities.Reponsibilities

  • Management reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations in line with the charity’s reporting requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyse and report on financial performance, including income, expenses and profitability of the Charity’s trading activities.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with teams within the trading division to create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Financial Planning: Work closely with shop managers and trading teams to set financial targets, monitor progress, and provide guidance on cost control.
  • Performance Metrics: Implement and monitor KPIs to track progress and provide regular reports to the trading division, and the Charity Boards.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations, standards and policies and keep up to date on changes within the regulatory environment.
  • Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the Finance team to align financial strategies with the overall mission and goals.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Establish a strong working relationship with key stakeholders by working in a collaborative manner to provide financial support and fostering a culture of financial responsibility.
Person Specification:
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives.
