Field Service Manager Up to £36,000 DOE Site: Rugby (Field based) SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Field Service Manager to work our established Automotive parts manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing CVT Fleet Solutions & Services technical support to defined CVT & van fleet customers.This position plays a vital role in monitoring & maintaining the companies CVT National & Regional service quality levels through on-site fleet Inspections & audits in conjunction with robust dealer quality audits. The role also provides key field technicalsupport in both PLT and CVT product groups, reactive warranty on site Inspection service & product performance monitoring bench marking activities. This is a full time field based role, reporting in to the Fleet Solutions Manager. Responsibilities > CVT tyre fleet inspections / audits - Using Sword & FCT systems capture accurate tyre tread measurements and various other tyre condition status information. Communicate to both the on site customer maintenance / operations teams and responsible 360 networkdealer of any important immediate remedial work and instigate corrective measures that ensure efficient and effective continuation of customer fleet operations at that site. Report results of site Fleet Checks both internally and externally to relevant parties > Customer Fleet & Network Training - Delivers targeted driver education training to optimse tyre performance and contribute to a fleet PPK profitability. Conduct various NTDA / IMI training courses to drive higher servicing standards within our 360 network.Support where applicable in technical internal training > CVT product performance monitoring (PPMo) - Using the FCT system conducts and co-ordinates the monitoring of both regular and test products placed within area of responsibility and ensures data obtained is accurate and timely, and where necessary reportsthe specific tyre performance current status within their targeted fleets > Digital Solutions Technical Support - When required provide field service support with fault diagnosis and rectification with CPC / digital solutions Provide CPC 360 next work training support e.g. sensor application > 360 Network partner audits - Support within a specific geographical area with planned business / service audits at a 360 network partners site to ensure defined company servicing standards are being delivered. Report audit results both internally & externallyfocussing on areas of non compliance. Reschedule and revisit 360 network sites where the initial audit requirements were below the required standards > Technical Field Support - Supports when required with other field technical support services e.g. dynamic weight exercise, vehicle fuel data extraction, vehicle wheel alignment etc to continuously add additional service value as part of the companies premiumbrand offering > Field Warranty Support - Provides resolution of both PLT & CVT end users warranty concerns / complaints when requested. Ensures the warranty judgement meets the GCH quality standards Requirements > Good written & verbal communication skills that is highly motivated and capable of working independently and as a team player > Proficiency with standard office tools: MS Word, Exel, Powerpoint, Teams etc > Licensed commercial tyre technician (NTDA / City & Guilds / IMI technical qualification OR qualified commercial vehicle mechanic > 3 years in a commercial truck tyre technician environment OR 3 years in a commercial vehicle mechanical maintenance workshop OR 2 years in a mechanical engineer environment
