Job Description

The RoleMajor Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Buyer on behalf of our clients based in Rugby. The role of the Buyer will be working within the Raw Materials division including stone, cement etc! The main overview of the role includes: -

  • Secure optimized supply of raw materials to cement business, including the search of new products, negotiation and administrate of contracts.
  • Conducting tender processing
  • Contract prep
  • Monitor of quality of materials
  • Secure optimized supply of raw materials to mortar, ready-mix and related business, including the search of new products, negotiation and administrate of contracts.
  • Support manager raw materials management Europe by delivering relevant and consolidated data / reports
  • Analyse local and international markets
  • Coordinate trial to test new materials
  • Perform audits at supplier sites
  • Develop internal and external supply chain
The HoursThis is a full time permanent position working (on site) Monday to FridayYour ProfileIn order to be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years buying/ procurement experience. - if you have experience with raw materials, this would be a huge advantage.You will be a highly experienced and confident negotiator with a keen eye for detail on quality and service.The Salary£45,000 - £48,000 - Depending on experienceLife assurance - up to 3 x salary, if in pension schemePension - starts at 5% employer to 10% (% based on age and individual contribution)Cycle to work SchemeEmployee Lifestyle benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramMajor Recruitment act as an Employment Agency for permanent roles and an Employment Business for temporary opportunitiesINDBR
