SF Group are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to work for a fantastic service business based in the south Birmingham area. This large multinational is seeking a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) whos main duties will include: - Resource planning in preparation for statutory accounts completion - Regularly review progress vs plan flagging any risks or issues - Liaise with a number of key individuals in group finance to agree/obtain key information - Communicate when required with many key stakeholders within the UK business to ensure all aspects of the accounts are complete - Key point of contact/liaison with external auditors - Continuously review processes ensuring they are as efficient as possible - Able to analyse and interpret large data sets from multiple sources in differing formats - Management of part qualified accountants on specific activities such as balance sheet reporting and key elements within the vast pension process. - Co-ordinating external audit being the key point of contact between the business and the auditors - Preparing ad-hoc reports analysis for internal and external stakeholders - Key understanding of UK tax requirements - Keep up to date with current changes to international accounting standards to ensure accurate reporting within key financial statements, providing technical support to sector colleagues on a wide range of accounting matters.
