Are you a Commercial Account Handler with experience in Commercial Account Handling in Motor Trade, seeking a new opportunity to work for an established brokerageIf so, a Regional Insurance Broker based in Birmingham, have a great new opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler to join one of their specialist teams.The purpose of the role is to organise and manage a portfolio of clients in the Motor Trade line of business. This is a diverse role which also encompasses account and relationship management for a portfolio of customers as well as a number of affinity partnerships.You will also be responsible for supporting the Motor Trade service team and Motor Trade Development Executives to ensure that we build and execute a market leading set of propositions and services.WHAT YOU’LL DO• Supporting the needs and requirements of a portfolio of Motor Trade customers, working with the Motor Trade service team to execute on our propositions.• Proactively manage a portfolio of mid to large Motor Trade clients & ensure insurance needs are understood and met that they have exceptional service.• Be actively involved in new business opportunities, contributing to our success in winning high quality new customers.• Participate in the establishment, development and execution of affinity partnerships which contribute to our Motor Trade strategy and business plans.• Work with the Motor Trade service team to ensure that all tasks and activities are undertaken in a timely and effective way.• Provide input to our operational practices and processes to help us deliver continual improvements and efficiencies.• Establish and maintain relationships with our key insurer partners.• Act as a point of escalation for technical and operational questions from the Motor Trade service teamCONDUCT & GENERAL• You must act with integrity and act with due care, skill and diligence while also always ensuring a positive promotion and representation of the organisation.• You must be open and cooperative with the FCA, the PRA and other regulators.• You must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly.• Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and complied with, including financial regulations, data protection, health and safety and all regulatory requirements.WHAT YOU’LL NEED• A sound knowledge of commercial insurance, in particular motor trade, with at least 2 years’ experience• Proven track record in the sales environment with evidence of successfully assisting an Account Executive and or Business Development Manager• Knowledge of Acturis - preferable but not essentialQualifications and Training• CII - work towards industry recognised qualifications preferableIf youre interested in this opportunity, please apply with your CV today!For more information please contact one of our specialist consultants on and quote job reference NJR01113.
