Job Description

An independent community pharmacy group is looking for a motivated pharmacist to join their Barnsley branch to provide management to a small but highly efficient team.A busy village branch that is attached to a GP surgery. The small branch team, which includes a Technician and Supervisor, are close-knit and highly efficient.Key Duties

Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach to all aspects of the role
Providing expert clinical advice to customers
Support the supervision and training of new staff
To check prescription medicines to patients, checking the form, strength, dosage and ensuring that medicines are correctly and safely labelled and supplied
To abide by the GPhC code of ethics, observing and applying all professional, ethical and legal obligations
Build strong working relationships with colleagues and health care professionals
To keep up to date with current pharmacy practice, new drugs and their uses for the purpose of continuing professional development

Opening hours: Monday-Friday, 09:00 - 18:00 (closed for 1 hour at lunch)
