Job Description

Are you a UK Registered Nurse wanting to control your own rota with flexibility to work the shifts that suit youWhether youre a nurse looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if youre a UK Registered Nurse you can join our nurse staff bank and after completing a paid two-week induction youll have access toavailable nursing shifts for Elysium Healthcare at Jubilee House, with a future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.There is no minimum number of hours youre required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps youll have the nursing shifts secured with Elysium that you want.Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Nurse with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parkingand much more. What you will be doing: As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) you will provide high-quality evidence-based care to men and women with mental health conditions in a modern and purpose-built hospital , while supporting your colleagues andpromote good teamwork, as youre supported.With Elysium, youll get to experience what delivering great healthcare should feel like as you make a real difference to some of the most vulnerable people in society, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated as youre rewarded and enjoy a fulfillingnursing role.The service operates 24/7 with 12.5 hour standard shifts. As a nurse on our bank youll be on a zero hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose the shifts you want to work. Things that you will have:

Where you will be working: Location: 18 Jubilee Gardens, Royston, Barnsley, S71 4FLYou will be working at Jubilee House, a specialist mixed gender service for people living with learning disabilities, autism and sensory and communication impairments just 4 miles from Barnsley town centre, with direct bus access and good transport links.Working as part of a team, you will support individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge, while embracing and balancing the management of risk with comfort, homeliness, dignity, respect and choice.The service is staffed 24 hours a day by a dedicated team made up of registered manager, nurses and support workers, and is intended for those individuals who require a high level of support to live within a community setting and will continue to require thislonger term.What you will get:
