About the Role:As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of your students, preparing them for the challenges of secondary school. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for SATs examinations, andfostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of young learners during a crucial stage of their education.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Prepare students for SATs examinations with confidence and skill.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate activities
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of student attainment and behaviour
