Job Description

Job Title: Teaching AssistantLocation: Leeds LS9Job Type: Full-time/ PermanentStart Date: OngoingPay: £80 to £90 per day.Reed Education are working with a primary school in Leeds to recruit 4 Teaching Assistants on a permanent basis. The roles are flexible based upon the experience of the candidates and the year group they will be working with.The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support to the classroom teacher, helping students with their learning, and ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning.Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to a child with communication difficulties and autism.
  • Helping the child catch up with age-related academic expectations.
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to develop and implement appropriate educational plans for the child.
  • Monitoring the childs progress and providing regular updates to teachers and parents.
  • Helping the child develop social skills and engage in group activities with their peers.
  • Providing emotional support and guidance to the child as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • A passion for working with children and helping them to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
