Job Description

Job Title: Trainee Mechanical FitterLocation: SheffieldShifts: Days regularSalary: Circa £25,000 per annumMetalis is working with a company based in Rotherham, who design, manufacture and install bespoke solutions for a range of heavy industries. They are looking to add to their team by recruiting for a trainee mechanical fitter.Job Role:

  • Following ongoing training, to carry out mechanical fitting duties as designated by the workshop manager on a range of bespoke products.
  • Completing all tasks and duties according to applicable risk assessments and method statements.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Stripping, maintaining and refurbishing gearboxes, chain and belt conveyors, crushers and hydraulic brackets following training.
  • Following all health & safety guidelines.
Job Requirements:
  • Apprentice trained in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Early stages of your career, looking to progress with a forward-thinking company.
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn.
Job Details:
