Job Description

The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a full time Sale Specialist to join our team at Minster, based in Rotherham. As part of an internal sales team, you will be expected to build relationships and develop sales opportunities with internal/external customers and suppliers.Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00-17:00 with an hour for lunch (Possibility of 1 Saturday for stock take) Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a proactive sales/customer focused environment
  • Ability to communicate and influence
  • Ability to work within a team locally and nationally
  • Numerical aptitude
  • Knowledge of the industry preferred but not essential
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Key Results Areas
  • Comply with all Company health and safety policies and procedures to ensure that both staff and customers are free from accidents
  • Ensure individual and team compliance with the Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve product and industry knowledge
  • Develop market growth in chosen customer and product segments by driving proactive sales
  • Ensure that the branch is the best provider of customer service locally and nationally as defined by the Customer
  • Support all Company Customer Service initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with SGBD Business Control procedures
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by your Line Manager. Key Performance Indicators
