Job Title: Children’s Social Worker - Level 3Team: LocalityLocation: Rotherham Metropolitan Borough CouncilStart Date: ASAPContract: On goingHours: 37Rate: £35Office Use: RQ1269366Looking for an experienced Social Worker to provide cover until new ASYEs can commence later in 2024.The role would be as a Social Worker in one of the locality teams in Rotherham. We work with children and their families under Child in Need plans, Child Protection Plans or through pre-proceedings and Court proceedings.Average caseload as of 10.05.24 is 17.8 children, and the teams are stable.Ashberry Recruitment would ask that applicants meet the following:

  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
  • Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
  • Possess knowledge of service needs.
  • Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
  • Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
