SHEQ / QHSE Manager (and Facilities) RotherhamTo £50k neg dep exp + 9% bonus + generous benefitsOur client is part of a multi-billion-pound global organisation employing more than 70,000 staff in over 100 countries and are recognised market leaders in their niche manufacturing sector. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategicgrowth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced QHSE Manager to complement their established and professional engineering division based near Rotherham.As QHSE Manager, you will provide support in developing systems and procedures to comply with various regulatory requirements applicable on site e.g. COMAH duties, process safety programmes, emergency preparedness and environmental regulations and will focuson the effective and sustainable implementation of SHEQ behaviours and SHEQ management systems (i.e. policy, standards, procedures, tools and processes) as well as key improvement programmes relevant to businesses operating in the area (as per SHEQ improvementplans).In addition, you will provide independent support for the upper tier COMAH site, assisting with the achievement of line ownership of the SHEQ agenda and the local implementation of effective process safety competence & to provide visible leadership of theSHEQ agenda, and will also be responsible for guiding and supporting, monitoring and reporting SHEQ & Facilities performance & plans for the site as required.You will also manage the site facilities team and will be responsible for all aspects of site infrastructure maintenance under landlord duties as well as site security, and additionally look after the contractor management coordination and associated procurementactivities - including Access control, fire-fighting equipment, emergency response equipment, first aid equipment, environmental equipment Monitoring & maintenance and spill kits.To be considered for this varied and challenging QHSE Manager position you will essentially demonstrate an industry recognised Health & Safety qualification such as the NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) and at least 3 years experience gained in an Uppertier COMAH site.Additionally you will have a good understanding of legal compliance and proven experience gained within a similar role engaging with multiple stakeholders.Contact the Quality Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in confidence to for further details.
