We are currently recruiting for an legal secretary to work for a firm of solicitors in Sheffield. The role will involve providing administrative support to solicitors and fee earners undertaking wills & probate work, alongside reception duties for thebranch.The ability to deliver a friendly, professional, quality service in all dealings with clients and other parties is essential. The successful applicant will have a pleasant, helpful manner, strong organisational skills and will enjoy working under pressure,meeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy while doing so.KEY TASKS Reception duties Audio-typing Producing documents from the Case Management System Dealing with a high volume of telephone queries Keeping clients and other parties updated with progress of matters Scanning, copying and filing documents Assisting solicitors and executives with matters at all stages of the transaction, from file opening to archiving in accordance with office and accounts proceduresKEY SKILLS - ESSENTIAL Professional and helpful client care Confident IT skills Excellent telephone manner Effective and helpful administrative support Ability to work accurately in accordance with agreed procedures Ability to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients expectations and matter deadlines Ability to work on own initiative as appropriate Ability to work under pressure Ability to work as a member of a team.
