Job Role: HGV TechnicianLocation: RotherhamHourly Rate: £14.28 basic rateShift Rotation: Early / Late Shift Monday - Friday (06:00 - 14:30 / 14:00 - 22:30)My client, a well established fleet maintenance company with depots across the region is actively seeing to recruit a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Technician based out of a depot in the Rotherham area to work on a full time / permanent basis.Working in a state of the art, well equipped workshop, the successful HGV Technician will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service and maintenance, predominately working on DAF, Renault, Scania and Mercedes Trucks and a range of Trailers.Duties range from correction of running defects to full vehicle overhauls, diagnostics and everything in between. You will also be required to undertake pre MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.The HGV Technician will be working on a modern fleet of commercial vehicles to include tractor units, rigids and a wide variety of trailers.The hours of work for this HGV Technician will be 06:00 - 14:30 / 13:30 - 22:30 Monday - Friday on a rotating early and late shift. Overtime is available at this site and will be paid at time and a half and double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays with a day off in lieuIn order to qualify for the role, the successful HGV Technician will have industry recognised qualifications (NVQ Level Three or City & Guilds one and two).
