Job Description

Exam InvigilatorsFlexible hours, temporary, Salary; £8.72 per hour (£9.50 Online) plus Holiday PayLocation; Dearne Valley College The RoleTo conduct effectively examination invigilation by ensuring guidelines/regulations are strictly adhered to for integrity of candidates and security of examination papers before, during and after an examination session.Duties include:

  • To check the correct examination papers are present.
  • To ensure that the right candidates attend and check photo identification.
  • To explain examination conditions to candidates before the start of the examination.
  • To control the examination environment and ensure a fair and calm process.
  • To ensure that examinations are kept to time.
  • To control access to the examination room.
  • Have you got what it takes
  • Hold excellent organisational skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Confident with employers
  • Be available to work daytime and/or evenings on a sessional basis.
  • Hold Basic IT skills are needed to upload and download online tests
