Responsibilities As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, youll have the opportunity to: · Work as part of & lead a project team in delivering cutting-edge control system projects. Produce essential project lifecycle documentation, from technical specifications to commissioning documentation· Independently develop software and test procedures within project time scales - all while having fun doing it!· Train and develop less experienced engineers within the business, becoming a leader and sharing knowledge and information.· Interface with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers, participating in design meetings, and independently managing time and workload to achieve objectives within project timescales.· Take part in project development, commissioning, and troubleshooting in-house and on-site, including the potential for exciting project work both offshore and abroad. Required Skills To thrive in this role, youll need:o Proven experience in developing PLC and SCADA software for a range of major manufacturers. o Good knowledge of communication protocols, fault finding, and network configurations. o Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and the ability to produce written documents of a good standard. o Experience in control and automation projects across several industries. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, with the ability to manage time and organize workload to meet deadlines.Qualifications/Experience Were looking for candidates with:·Graduate-level education with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in process control, safety, or automation systems/applications.
