Assistant Service Manager - Rotherham - up to £28,000Our client is an award winning company, involved in the construction and maintenance of commercial and domestic swimming pools and Spas.We have a vacancy for an Assistant Service/Maintenance Manager office based, you will be responsible for a team of between 5-10 engineers where you will schedule the engineers diaries from maintaining clients swimming pool facilities, plantroom equipment and specialist sub contractors services, necessary to support Planned and Reactive maintenance works in both domestic and commercial environments.As a Deputy Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:-- Work alongside the current management and administration team, to maintain and improve the current workloads and turnovers- Develop and operate within the site maintenance program protocols for commercial clients- Take client calls for new and existing enquiries, offer guidance for statutory and technical compliance of assets, including working environment support of client and commercial teams- Effectively manage staff and sub-contractors ensuring work is carried out in line with programs, procedures and statutory compliance- Assist in the development and delivery of Health & Safety, including team and toolbox talks- Undertake any other reasonable dutiesWere looking for:-- NVQ2/3 alternatively ONC/D or HNC or equivalent in an electrical/mechanical discipline preferred- Previous experience in maintenance or team management role would be beneficial- Excellent team working, problem solving capabilities and self motivated- Flexible but sensible approach to hours usually Monday - Friday 7:30 - 17:00- Methodical approach to procedures, processes and administration- Proficient in Microsoft packages, including word, excel and outlook- Ability to manage a number of services simultaneously- Must be able to fully satisfy client security clearance minimum requirementsPlease send your CV if you feel you are suited to this role.
