We have built on the success of the UK MoD Type 31 Frigate and have secured contracts for frigate export variants (AH140) with overseas customers. As well as supportingexports of frigates the engineering team is actively working on other ship newbuild and life extension programs around the world, from small fast attack craft all the way up to aircraft carriers. The roleThe difference our new Project Controls Analyst will make As a Project Controls Analyst, youll have a role thats out of the ordinary. Youll be joining our Ship Building Operations unit and assist the Project Management Office (PMO) in sub-projects and key project issues.Day to day, youll lead on project controls across schedule management, budgeting & cost control, risk & opportunity management, change management and document management. Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Baseline Budgets, including Control AccountPlans and Responsibility Assignment Matrix and WBS Dictionary. Maintain project estimates and ensure regular reviews are undertaken with each discipline. Maintain the Provision of weekly and monthly performance reports and associated analysis and narrativeand assist in the management of sub-projects and key project issues. Microsoft Excel will be fundamental to your role; you will also create formulas to help support project analysis.At Babcock, we have a history of helping talent go far.   • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel (confident with Excel formula writing, VBA experience is advantageous).
  • Experienced with various data analysis.
  • Previous experience working within a project controls function is advantageous.
  • Must be able to obtain relevant security Clearance
