Continuous Improvement EngineerRosyth / hybrid workingPermanent 42904Here at Babcock International Group in Rosyth we aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our Engineering, Specialised Manufacturing, Gas Handling Systems and Naval Marine business streamsDue to growth within our contracts we are now looking to bring on board a Continuous Improvement Engineer who will support delivery of complex projects across the Defence, Maritime & Nuclear industries,You will be responsible for leading the deployment of improvement projects, for training others and for providing technical expertise in Lean and Six Sigma, Project and Change Management principles and tools to enable identification and delivery of improvementopportunities aligned to key business goals.Who we are looking forWe are looking for an CI Engineer that has experience within delivery of improvement projects. We welcome applications from all industries including engineering, manufacturing, ICT. What will you be doingYour key responsibilities will include:* Leading local deployment of improvement strategy. Support delivery of business goals* Provide technical expertise to local teams. Coaching & Mentoring Associates* Develop and implement improvement projects to deliver the improvement goals of the department* Liaise with other internal functional departments and share information on new improvements and changes* Analyse operational performance and identify performance improvement initiates for the department* Work with internal and external resources to define and deliver improvement* Ensure all system based records are fully up to date and reports, plans and schedules are implementedThe experience youll bring* Relevant CI qualifications such as Lean Six Sigma.* You should hold or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance.What a role with Babcock offers* Agile Working Arrangements - 2 days per week in the office.* Generous holiday entitlement* Pension Plan* Access to make a difference for a sustainable environment for future* A tailored personal development and training programme.* Autonomy.
