Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.Applications are invited for a Stockworker to join the Animal Behaviour and Welfare Team of the Animal and Veterinary Sciences Department at the Easter Bush Campus near Edinburgh.The successful candidate will join a team of technicians working primarily on animal behaviour and welfare research projects. They will also assist in the delivery of other projects in the broader field of animal and veterinary sciences and help with on-farmdemonstrating of practical tasks to students as required.The main responsibility of the post will be the care of livestock under farm conditions and assisting in experimental data collection under supervision. The post holder will liaise closely with technicians and farm staff to ensure the optimum managementof animals.A current driving licence is essential since travel to farm sites will be required.
