Job Description

Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Personal Assistant/Administrator to work with a Public Sector organisation in Midlothian on a temporary basis for 3 months initially. In this role you will work as a Personal Assistant to the director and provideefficient administrative support. Applicants should have previous PA experience. This is a full time role with immediate start.Role: PA/AdministratorContract Length: 3 months initiallyLocation: Roslin EH25- Hybrid workingHours: 35 hoursPay: £12.87 per hourKey Responsibilities

  • Providing a professional PA service to the Director and other members of the Senior Team
  • Assist with managing the Directors inbox
  • Diary management- To ensure time and busy schedule is managed effectively and efficiently
  • Show initiative when coping with day-to-day problems and aware what decisions or information should be referred to management.
  • Prioritising diaries and arranging meetings- Arranging internal and external meetings and events
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support with committee meetings, preparing agendas and papers
  • Minute Taking and following up action points
  • Organising travel and accommodation
Essential Skills
  • Previous PA experience
  • Competence in secretarial duties such as minute taking, diary management, travel booking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Competent with Microsoft office and good IT skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and using your own initiative
