Job Description

Workforce Transformation AdvisorJob Type: TemporarySector: HealthcareDuration: Expected to last for 6-12 monthsLocation: Hybrid however, onsite work will be based in Romford/Ilford locationsTravel: Some cross site is requiredRemote Working: Hybrid. Office/Home rota to be discussed with the client.Band: 5Pay Rates: £16-£20 paye inclusive of holiday pay per hour depending on skill and experienceOR£18.50-£22.50 Umbrella per hour depending on skill and experienceIR35: InsideWorking Days and Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, 37.5 hoursDuties

  • To be responsible for the day to day running of HR administration, by taking responsibility and accountability for specific workforce functions as decided by the HR Business Partner and/or Head of Workforce.
  • To support on a set of designated workforce projects as directed by the HR Business Partner and/or Head of Workforce e.g., recruitment, workforce information reporting, support for staff experience initiatives, provide support to organisational change andconsultation processes.
  • To provide advice to managers in line with the Trust’s policies and procedures, referring to the HR Business Partner where necessary.
  • To sit on AFC job evaluation panels and support HR Business Partner in all other aspects of the job evaluation process, including but not limited to administration, job description reviews, liaising with the management of queries, clustering and other.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Experience of working as a Workforce Transformation Advisor/HR Advisor/Equivalent
  • Working knowledge of employee relations, specifically change management and job evaluations
  • CIPD qualified and/or hold a relevant degree level qualification
  • HR experience gained within a multi-skilled professional and unionised environment
  • A working knowledge of employment law
  • Experience carrying out recruitment, workforce information reporting, support for staff experience initiatives, organisational change and consultation processes
  • Thorough understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection
  • Proficient in use of IT packages including Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff across all disciplines
  • Planning, organisational, prioritisation and time management skills while managing a busy caseload
  • Ability to make decisions autonomously, when required, working to tight and often changing timescales
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude in a challenging environment.
