Job Type: Part time

Salary: £30-£40ph

We are seeking a dedicated Carpentry Assessor to join our team. Your expertise in carpentry will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting learners enrolled in our Carpentry courses for a Further Education Provider in East London.This position is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a commitment to maintaining high-quality training standards. The individualneeds to be immediately available and ideally havea DBS on the update service. Day-to-day of the role:

Conduct practical assessments of learners’ carpentry skills, ensuring a fair and consistent evaluation process.
Provide detailed and constructive feedback to learners to help them enhance their carpentry performance and knowledge.
Work closely with teaching staff to design and deliver effective and comprehensive Carpentry training programs.
Maintain strict compliance with assessment standards and guidelines to uphold the integrity of our Carpentry qualifications.
Offer support and guidance to learners throughout their journey to achieve their Carpentry qualifications, fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

A minimum of 2years of practical experience in the carpentry industry, demonstrating a strong foundation in the trade.
Possession of an Assessor qualification (A1 or equivalent) is essential for the role.
Familiarity with Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) processes, ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments.
A genuine interest in education and learner development, with a passion for guiding students towards success in their Carpentry careers.
