Job Description

Salt Recruitments Local Government client in Greater Anglia requires a Leadership and Management Development Consultant for an initial 6-month contract that pays £450 per day (Umbrella). This position is hybrid and you will be needed onsite once or twiceper week depending on business needs.The OpportunityThe Council aspires to become a learning organisation and to be far more pioneering and agile than now - we want innovation and learning to take centre stage.Underpinning our workforce strategy is the recognition that we need to strengthen our leadership and management capabilities and significantly strengthen the capabilities required for what is needed now and for the future.This role will translate current and future leadership and management development needs at all levels in the organisation (from executive development to early-career stages), into innovative, aligned and practical programs and learning interventions to supportthe development of leaders and managers so they are ready to deliver the organisation strategy.Accountabilities

Lead the design and implementation of leadership and management development solutions, to ensure they are future-focused, relevant, innovative, cost effective and aligned to functional business plans.
Responsible for externally procuring, as appropriate, the design and delivery of specific programs, providing the necessary contract management and quality assurance.
Deliver agreed leadership and management development solutions (e.g. specific events). This may include executive coaching, facilitation, delivery of highly energised workshops, or consultancy advice to ODP and/or other teams in the organisation to identifytailored solutions.
Supports the implementation of our Talent development strategy, ensuring the Talent needs identified across the organisation are properly addressed through our leadership & management development initiatives.

The Experience you will bring;

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver at pace
Significant technical expertise in Leadership and Management Development (from executive development to entry level positions), balanced with an ability to pragmatically execute relevant programmes.
Proven ability to solve complex problems, conduct research/break new ground, develop new applications and provide expert support for other practitioners.
Sound expertise in designing and applying impact evaluation to leadership and management development programs, with a bias towards evidence-based practice and use of people insight to design interventions.
