Fire Safety Manager

Job Description

Building Safety Manager required with Fire Safety Management qualifications and NEBOSH. Working Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours) on an annual salary between £40,000 - £45,000. This salary may be negotiable for an outstanding candidate.Please note this is an office based role, with occasional hybrid working. Main base will likely be Romford in Essex, or Dartford in Kent.Duties:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Building Safety Cases
  • Ensure that planned and preventative maintenance is carried out
  • Engage with internal staff and external contractors to ensure roles are performed in accordance with Fire Regulations
  • To oversee the successful implementation of corrective actions rising from fire risk assessment and audits
  • Manage FRA - Fire Risk Assessments through to completion
  • Ensure all contractors and staff work in accordance with rules and regulations
  • Manage cleaning staff, and contract servicing; PAT testing, fire checks
  • Deal with mould and dampcomplaints

Experience required:
  • Fire Safety qualification - level 3 or above, acreddited by IFE or IFSM or equivalent
  • NEBOSH certification
  • Experience in managing fire safety and FRA - Fire Risk Assessments
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
