Job Description

The FirmOur client is a distinguished local law firm with over 30 years of collective experience, specialising in family law, wills, trusts, probate, and conveyancing. Situated in a vibrant part of East London and on the Elizabeth Line, our firm is dedicated todelivering exceptional legal services with an emphasis on independence, impartial advice, and client satisfaction.Our client is looking for a Family Law Solicitor to strengthen their team by playing a crucial role in their family law practice. The role will focus on divorce, matrimonial finances, cohabitation disputes, and private client children matters, you will bringyour extensive experience to guide and support both clients and junior members of our legal team. Please note - the firm only covers private family work.Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management.
  • Manage a portfolio of complex family law cases from inception to resolution.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of legal intricacies in divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and private client children matters.
  • Client Advocacy: Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients, ensuring their best interests are prioritised.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, advocating effectively on their behalf.
Continuous Professional Development:
  • Stay abreast of legal developments, precedents, and best practices in family law.
  • Contribute to the firms growth and reputation by actively participating in professional development opportunities and networking.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • You must be a qualified solicitor or Legal Executive with a focus on family law.
  • Excellent experience in handling family law cases, including divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes, and private client children matters.
  • Proven track record of successful client representation and case management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
