Job Description

Job Title: Facilities Manager - Soft FacilitiesLocation: Romford, LondonSalary Range: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)Are you an experienced Facilities Manager with a background in the soft facilities industry Do you possess the skills and expertise needed to drive business development and manage refurbishment projects If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you tojoin our clients team in Romford, London. Please note that our client wishes to remain anonymous at this stage of the recruitment process.About the Role:As a Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the soft facilities operations for our undisclosed client. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day facility services, executing refurbishment projects, anddriving business development initiatives to ensure the continued success and growth of the organization.Key Responsibilities:

  • Soft Facilities Management: Take charge of soft facilities operations, including but not limited to cleaning, security, catering, and other related services.
  • Refurbishment Management: Lead and manage refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities for business growth, develop strategies to expand services, and maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of facility professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and control facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in soft facilities management, including a track record of successful refurbishment project management.
  • Strong business development skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
