Job Description

Internal Sales Operative

  • Salary: £24,150 pa
  • Location: Flexible within the UK
  • Job Type: Part-time & Full-time
We are seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Operative with a passion for hospitality to join our proactive Telesales Department. This customer service-based role is for a leading distributor, where you will work closely with your sales representative toensure our customers receive the highest standard of customer care. This is a continuous learning environment with constant room for development. The positions available are both part-time and full-time with flexible hours to be worked between 8:30 am and5 pm, Monday to Friday. Day-to-day of the role:
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Evaluate and resolve both customer and representative queries.
  • Liaise and build rapport with customers and other departments.
  • Take orders via phone, email, or online ordering app.
  • Discuss current promotional deals with the potential to upsell.
  • Work with our online ordering system to ensure orders are input correctly and all customer issues are dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Efficient call logging and email management.
  • Be flexible in your approach to carrying out your duties, which may change from time to time to reflect business needs or for the company’s continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A confident, engaging, and friendly telephone manner.
  • Clear communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn detailed product knowledge (training will be provided).
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and organise your workload.
  • Flexible, proactive, and reactive approach when responding to matters in the workplace.
  • Competency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in a sales environment is desirable but not essential.
