Job Description

Asbestos Analyst/Trainee Surveyor£27,000 - £33,000 + Training + BenefitsRomford, South EastAre you an experienced Asbestos Site Analyst and seeking an opportunity to develop your skill-setOur client is a UKAS accredited environmental consultancy who are recognised as one of the leaders in the market across the whole of the UK. With a fantastic reputation within the industry, this highly successful consultancy have recently secured a numberof large contracts across the South East regions, and are now seeking a BOHS P403 & P404 qualified Asbestos Analyst who are looking to take the next step in their career.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Site Analyst who is looking to develop their skill-set, as on offer is the opportunity to complete the BOHS P402 qualification and become a dual trained Asbestos Surveyor Analyst.Asbestos Site Analyst Duties:

  • Carrying out Asbestos Air Tests, Asbestos Fibre Counts, 4-Stage clearance testing
  • Liaise with clients and members of the public daily
  • Use PCM (Phase Contrast Microscopy Techniques) for all Analytical work
  • Submit relevant reports through the TEAMS software and produce relevant certificates on site
Asbestos Surveyor Duties:
  • Sampling and Surveys of asbestos in buildings (Management and Refurbishment/Demolition)
  • Collecting bulk samples to be taken in for analysis
  • Liaising and building relationships with the companys portfolio of clients
  • Ensuring all work carried out is to a high standard and in line with HSG: 264
Key Requirements:
  • BOHS P403 + P404/RSPH3 qualified with a minumum of 12 months field experience
  • Additional BOHS P402 qualification is highly desirable
  • Compenent in carrying our Air Monitoring and 4-Stage Clearances
  • Full UK driving license with the flexabiliy to sites across the Essex, Hertfordshire and London areas
  • Excellent knowledge of the health and safety legislation in relation to asbestos
