Job Description

We at NOW Careers are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity, situated in Newport. This is a hybrid role but it would be limited to 1 day a week from home.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated leader to join a busy Finance Department. This post will cover the FBP role during an implementation of Dynamix and will be part of the site management team providing strategic insightinto the financial implications of the business performance. It will be interpreting the financial results and explaining the key drivers of this performance, with a view to driving profit improvement and challenging the business decisions. In particular initiallythis will focus on the cost of manufacture interpretation.Duties will include but not be restricted to:

  • Interpret the monthly accounts to the site management team
  • Provide insight into the performance using variance analysis
  • Identify large costs and variances, improve future forecasting and budgeting
  • Align the business performance to other reporting and non-financial data
  • Prepare the quarterly forecasting
  • Prepare the annual budget
  • Staff management to include reviews and performance feedback
The successful candidate should be CCAB qualified with 2 - 5 yr PQE within the manufacturing industry and have advanced Excel skills and be comfortable to use numerous accounting packages.As a key member of the finance department, you must demonstrate experience of working with stakeholders at differing levels of seniority up to and including directors across finance and non-financial stakeholders.The salary on offer between £45,000 - £50,000 DOE, there will be travel to the sites across Britain on a regular basis.If this could be for you then please apply.
