Job Description

We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join a leading construction business on a permanent basis.This position involves managing purchase invoices, supplier relations, and reconciliation, with a minimum requirement of at least 3 years of experience in purchase ledger work.This is a permanent position with standard office hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.Client Details:The client is a property construction with operations across England. They currently have thousands of projects in various stages of development, all of high values with plans to add many more.DescriptionThe successful Accounts Payable will be responsible for:

Posting high volume purchase invoices daily
Bank reconciliations
Adding new suppliers to the accounting system
Dealing with suppliers queries by phone and email
Balancing all supplier statements and investigate differences
Collaborating for reconciliation
Ad-hoc duties as required

Profile:The successful Accounts Payable will have:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Accounts Payable
Practical experience with Xero (Essential)
Proficiency in using MS Office suite (Excel, Word)
Quick learner, team player, positive attitude
Good communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
