1st Line Support / Support Co-ordinator SittingbourneVR/02803RSalary: up to £26kWe are looking for candidates with experience of working on a busy Service Desk. You will have excellent 1st Line skills and common sense to prioritize calls and escalate to 2nd and 3rd line as necessary. This is an exciting opportunity for to join a fantastic company promoting unique solutions and a hands-on approach. As a Service Delivery Engineer/Co-Ordinator you will work within a shift pattern providing a mixture of service desk/remote support to our growing customer base. Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, you will work closely with other service engineers in the Infrastructure and Service Delivery Teams.To be considered for this opportunity you must possess:• Good service desk skills • Excellent communication & organisational skills• A can-do attitude with strong customer service skills• A calm and patient manner whilst working under pressure• Previous experience working in a busy service desk role either with a service provider or within a corporate environment• Good triage & 1st line service desk support skills• Attention to detailDesirable skills & ability in the support and installation of a variety of IT solutions, along with a working knowledge and practical experience of the following:• Microsoft Desktop & Office Systems• Knowledge and understanding of monitoring products• Microsoft Server and Virtualisation Technologies• Active Directory Security and Administration, GPO• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP • Support of hardware, printers, desktops and servers• Email, Antivirus & Backup software• Networking knowledge • Firewalls and routers.• Mobile devices/phones.
