Job Description

Interim Head of Digital Platforms - - finance/healthcare - 9 months - Kent/Remote working- £market rate. Leading financial services company is actively recruiting for an experienced Head of Digital Platforms to lead the way on a major IT transformation, creating a wide range of new, market leading, app-based services which will impact brand awareness, and cultural changes within the organisation. Other areas this role will cover are data, analytics and technology.The successful Interim Head of Digital Platforms will be responsible for:

  • Driving the design implementation of a multi-sided open platform and partner eco-system to support the delivery of the new brand strategy
  • Defining the ongoing operating model needed to scale and operate the new digital IT infrastructure
  • Partnering with a wider Group & UK virtual team to work within the defined business architecture, and some key already-defined technology components (e.g. Azure, Salesforce)
  • Moving the business towards more open methods of integration, creating greater agility and resilience within the business
    • The successful Interim Head of Digital Platforms will need to have demonstrable experience of:
  • the ability to operate in a complex, regulated environment balancing the drive for execution and the agility of a fin-tech, with a focus on collaboration and consensus-building
  • Proven track record of defining, building and scaling a digital IT strategy and team - demonstrating a balance of build in-house & best-in-class partnering.
  • The ability to build out the platform of the future with an eye on being able to reduce and remove the past/ legacy infrastructure & cost
  • Evidence of being part of the wider people and processes change aspects in making sure the delivery of a new digital IT estate delivers tangible business value through the value chain.
