Production ManagerProduction Manager - Sheet metal fabrication - Lancashire £35,00 - £45,000A well established sheet metal company basic in Lancashire requires an experience Production Manager to join their workforce on a permanent basis. Suitable candidates are likely to be time served and have experience in sheet metal fabrication, including with stainless steel, aluminium (exotic metals desirable) welding, and CNC press and laser cutting machines. You will have proven solid working experience within a Production Planning/Scheduling role with experience of working with a wide variety of products from various sectors including Pharma, Food/catering. In addition you will have experienced in implementing improvements and efficiencies, running of the Workshop, staff management in order to maximise productivity, output and the quality of finished products ensuring Health & Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.As a Production Manager you will be required to determine default time per operation according to comparative values or in accordance with validated production data, assist with labour planning to support Production throughout, must be a certified Welding Technician/Time Served, have a good understanding of technical & planning documents and have knowledge of metalworking with Steel/Aluminium.
