L&D Manager role, will be a strategic and operationally aligned specialist HR professional supporting the Distribution centreClient DetailsOur client is a global multi-channel retail business that has a pedigree in providing the newest and most exciting products in the market - and they are going through a period of continued growth!They boast a reputation and culture that focuses on Performance, Wellbeing and Customer-centricityDescriptionReporting into the Head of L&D and partnering with the Head of HR for Distribution, this L&D Manager role, will be a strategic and operationally aligned specialist HR professional supporting the Distribution centre of c.2,500 people.Partnering with the Head of HR for Distribution, Operations and Engineering Managers and Leads, you will complete a full training needs analysis of skills for a blue-collared workforce, to then provide an overhaul of the training systems.You will create a full training passport for every employee with traffic light systems for technical training (including legal and mandatory training) and people management and coaching, to cover the whole people life-cycle from grassroots to senior managerlevel.You will also support and work with managers to develop a site training needs analysis, with a need to further monitor and review development programmes for their teams.Based in Rochdale, with very occasional travel to the East Midlands and Europe (as and when required).ProfileTo be considered for this L&D Manager role, you will have proven experience within a specialist L&D capacity, which has supported businesses in achieving their operational and strategic goals within a commercially driven and entrepreneurial environment.You will need to have;
