Job Description

Yard MarshallWe are recruiting for a Yard Marshall in Rocester near Stoke-on-Trent. Our client is one of the worlds leading logistics companies who value and respect their workers. We are offering ongoing positions to candidates who display a can-do spirit and a positive outlook.As a Yard Marshall you will need to have:

  • Good attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills
  • Previous warehouse experience
    • Details:
  • Salary: £10.47 per hour
  • Working Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 6.30am - 12.30pm
  • Location: Rocester
  • Duration: ongoing
    • Role of a Yard Marshall:You will be working outside, ensuring traffic is parked correctly on the lorry park and directing onto site.Good communication skills are essential.Job Purpose
  • Work within clear guidelines to help achieve defined outcomes for the site and the customer(s)
  • Works to policy and process to contribute to a safe, clean and fair working environment for all team members.
  • working to complete task in-line with agreed KPI`s, Standard Operating Procedures, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and Corporate Responsibility agenda.
  • Demonstrates a good teamwork ethic through leading by example and supports the site objectives by actively co-operating with peers and stakeholders demonstrating a "Right First Time", "Passion", and "Can Do" attitude to all tasks under-taken.
