Buyer- IT/TelecomsAlton, StaffordshireUp to £50,000An experienced buyer, confident in leading IT Projects is required to join a Traditional British Engineering business.You will use your exceptional stakeholder management skills, working closely with internal and global stakeholders to develop and challenge existing suppliers. You will also engage new suppliers and support new initiatives across the business.You will thrive in a fast-paced environment where the goal is always to improve quality and service levels while driving down costs.Some of what you will be doing:· Create and implement strategies to provide successful cost solutions· Lead pricing negotiations with global suppliers· Analyse global market data and drive service improvementsIdeally, your skills and experience will include:· 5 years of buying within a manufacturing or engineering environment· 3 years of experience buying complex IT Projects· CIPS Qualification· Advanced excel skills· It would be great if you also had experience with SAP Ariba Required skills
