Job Description

My client is one of the leading sushi restaurants in Cardiff, offering a warm cosy atmosphere and the best sushi to all customers. They are looking for an experienced and determined individual to join their Front of House team on a full-time basis to helpbring smiles and incredible service to all their guests.The main duties and responsibilities of the Front of House member will be:

Taking drinks and food orders from all customers, ensuring customer service is always excellent.
Delivering the food from the kitchen to the tables in a swift and efficient manner.
Prepping the restaurant for the dinner service, by vacuuming and mopping of the restaurant.
Preparing takeaway pots and boxes for dinner service, as the restaurant also offers Takeaway.
Managing phone enquiries either regarding bookings or takeaways.
Cleaning and setting tables after each diner has left.

The Ideal Front of House team member will:

Have experience in the Hospitality sector.
Be confident in their ability to carry dishes and drinks safely.
Have great communication skills and customer service skills.
A knowledge of sushi is desired, but not essential!
Be able to keep calm under pressure as the service can get particularly busy on Friday and Saturdays!
