Job Description

Assistant Workshop CoordinatorDue to continued growth, my client based in Derbyshire is recruiting for an Assistant Workshop Coordinator.The Workshop Coordinator is responsible for the daily control of the workshop in order to maintain a high level of productivity, quality and right first time repair. You will be required to run an efficient operation ensuring customer satisfaction andretention through achieving maximum utilisation of workshop facilities, as well as overseeing and motivating all workshop colleagues.You will be responsible for maintaining external supplier relationships as well as covering Service Advisor duties as and when required. You will also actively contribute to the implementation of safe work practices and security within the department.The ideal candidate will also be responsible for processing technical quotations, editing orders, providing exceptional customer services and order management for all accounts and end customers.Workshop Coordinator: Experience of working within a workshop department MIG welding & fabricating experience Structural Steel Projects experience Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/ CAD drawings Understanding of engineering procedures and fabrication processes Strong planning, time management and organisational skills Ability to lead from the frontThe candidate:Experience of working within a Manufacturing / Steel / Welding and FabricationExcellent communicatorIT literateFLT licence & Overhead crane (would be an advantage however not essential)Dont delay APPLY TODAY or call Clare Reed Nottingham
